Village Celebrates
We love to be celebratory at Village, so true to form we celebrated the winter holidays together in a myriad of ways! There were class potlucks, publishing parties and plays, including “The Jaguar’s Mistake” by Ms. Aline’s First Grade Firecrackers. There was a much-anticipated music sharing program with Mr. Ivan, temporarily halted but not defeated by a rainy day. Rain also could not stop the student council sponsored ice cream social, where reading buddies wrote fuzzy grams to each other in exchange for treats. And on the last day of school, students, parents and staff enjoyed cookies, cider and hot cocoa, Dreidel games, and a band featuring alum parent Steve Rappa and his band of merry alumni students. Here are a just a few photos of the Village community celebrations.
