Please join CUSD Superintendent, Dr. Eric Andrew for an informal coffee. We will be meeting in the Village School staff room from 8:25am – 9:25am Thursday, May 19th. There is no agenda or pre-determined topic for this casual discussion of topics of interest to the Village Community. As is our custom for events of this nature, feel free to come and go as you please.

The Village School Fun Run is here again! Strap on your tennis shoes and come join us at the Village/Capri Field on Friday May 13th from 8:30 – 9:30am. Students please wear your class t-shirts, we will have racing bibs for you to mark your laps on. We will also supply water bottles to all students for the event and serve frozen treats after. Fun Run is a fantastic, high energy event.

Join us on our annual camping trip this September in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains. We will be camping at the KOA Santa Cruz/Monterey in Watsonville CA. This year we will have a Western theme, so bring your cowboy hat and sprit of adventure! The camping trip is a wonderful opportunity to get to know fellow parents and students away from the hustle and bustle of suburban life. Just look at how much fun we had last year!

Updated Sat, Jul 25th

Every spring, Village hosts it's annual Science Fair. The Science Fair presents students an opportunity to discover, investigate and present on phenomena they experience.   Fourth and Fifth Grade students are required to participate, but we also encourage Kindergarten through Third graders to participate and research and investigate the world around them. Each student participating will receive a display board from his/her teacher. Only one board will be given per student. Please keep an eye out for upcoming information and support this fabulous annual event. See how creative and scientific our students are!!

Updated Sat, Jul 25th

The annual Village School Welcome Picnic is a chance to come on campus, meet new families and greet old friends before school starts. Bring your whole family. If you have relatives or friends visiting you, they are welcome too. It’s a casual affair.

There will be music, a free drawing for some choice Village prizes, and an opportunity to register for the Village Camping trip.

Village shirts and sweatshirts will be available for sale and the 5th graders will be fundraising for science camp with name tag lanyard sales so consider bringing cash or your checkbook.
