NASA: Journey into Outer Space (ages 6-11)
Mad Science and NASA have teamed up to bring you the excitement and wonder of space in this new voyage of discovery. See the principles of thrust and propulsion at work as we explore the atmosphere on earth and beyond! It's out of this world!
Junior Inventors (ages 6-11)
Creative Contraption Warning! This camp is designed by you-the Inventor! Each day you'll be given a series of challenges which must be overcome using basic materials, simple machines, tips from world famous inventors and the most important thing of all your imagination!
Dinos and Ancient Worlds (ages 6-11)
Dinosaurs, Myths, and Legends! Dig up some proof when little more than fables are left behind! Learn about archaeologist, paleontologist, and the techniques scientists use to excavate and discern fact from fiction! Study bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils to understand what they can tell us about history!
Reactions in Action (ages 6-11)
Dive into the realms of the Chemical and Physical world in this crazy week of non-stop action and Reaction! Explore our wonder lab and perform spectacular hands on experiments and continue the fun at home with the gadgets you've designed in the lab!
Jet Cadets (ages 6-11)
Explore the basic principles of flight, ride a hovercraft, build airplanes, and create balloon copters! Then set your sights on outer space as you tour distant galaxies and learn about our home-the Milky Way. This hands-on Mad Science program introduces kids to aerodynamics and the wonders of the world above us!
Eco Explorers (ages 5-10)
Use all your senses and explore the natural world around you. Have fun finding and magnifying nature's smallest creatures, pour plaster casts of animal tracks, and make recycled paper! Discover how birds thrive and solve the mystery of what Mr. Owl ate for lunch and more fun stuff!
Spy Academy (ages 6-11)
From decoding messages to metal detectors and night vision, campers check out spy tech equipment and take-home lots of gadgets! Step into the shoes of a detective as you uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis! Become a super spy and learn clever ways of performing tasks as we take a hands-on view of the science that spies and detectives use!
