About Village
Village School is a parent participation school that serves over 250 students in Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. We believe that education cannot be prescribed as a one-size-fits-all formula, and we take a holistic approach to education, helping our students develop socially, emotionally, and intellectually. We inspire children to discover their fullest potential on the road to life-long learning. Students, teachers and parents come together to form a community of learners.
The arts are an integral part of the curriculum, with music and art classes every week. Cross-age activities and multiple field trips that support the core curriculum and standards augment the day-to-day teaching. Our Positive Discipline philosophy permeates the school, creating a warm, respectful place where children can thrive. We were recognized by the State as a California Distinguished School in 2014 and 2020.
